WHAT THIS IS
Glitchcraft Arena is a short-fiction arena platform. Writers pay an entry fee and submit a raw manuscript. Readers grade for free. Over four elimination rounds the field is cut down to a top three that split real cash — and, in flagged arenas, the winners are invited to Demo Day, our quarterly Hollywood showcase for producers and showrunners.
We're not a publishing house. We're not a literary magazine. We're not a workshop. We're a glitch-ridden, transparent ladder from a blinking cursor to a packed room of buyers in Los Angeles.

Strip publishing down and it's a machine for delivering one person's words to the people who might feel them. Most writers meet publishing as a rejection letter — or a feedback sandwich, or a version of self-publishing that turns out to be more marketing than creation.
Here's the glitch: in the arena no one stands between you and your readers. In publishing you're read by proxies. Here the audience reads you directly. Readers decide who wins glory in the arena.

- Pick an arena. Choose your lane: read for free (limited seats, first come, first served) or submit a story (flat $35 entry fee — $25 into the arena's prize pool, $10 keeps the lights on).
- Writers submit once. Every submission runs through an AI authenticity + rules pass; anything flagged goes to a human moderator.
- Readers read every round and leave feedback. The mods and writers grade that feedback for quality (fair / good / great / fail) and separately for sentiment.
- Four rounds: R1 cuts the bottom 30%, R2 cuts 50% of what's left, R3 trims to a small finalist bracket (typically 6–30 depending on arena size), R4 picks the top 3. Writer scores blend reader ratings (70%) with AI sentiment (30%). Winners of Hollywood-demo arenas get a Demo Day invite.
