QUESTIONS
What is Glitchcraft Arena?
A short-fiction arena platform. Writers compete in rounds; readers grade peer feedback with AI assistance; winners take real cash and Hollywood demo slots.
How much does it cost to enter?
Each arena is $35. $25 of every entry fee goes into the prize pool. $10 keeps the lights on.
Is AI-written work allowed?
AI as a tool, yes. Pure AI dumps, no. We run an AI-likelihood + plagiarism pass on every submission and moderators review flagged work.
Can I cancel my entry?
No. All entry sales are final. Once you submit, your story is in the arena until it's eliminated, withdrawn by a moderator for rule violation, or the arena closes.
Who owns my story?
You do. We get a non-exclusive license to display it during the arena and showcase winners.
How are winners picked?
Combined score = moderator score (0–10, ×10) + average reader rating (0–10, ×5). Top 3 by combined score win cash. Ties go to earlier submission time.
How do reader payouts work?
Each arena has a reader leaderboard. Top 3 readers split a separate reader pool 60/25/15. Standing is based on AI-graded helpful feedback.
When do I get paid?
Once you complete Stripe Connect onboarding. Mock payment records are created immediately; payouts release after onboarding.
What is Demo Day?
Our quarterly LA showcase for arena winners. Producers and showrunners attend. Industry guests RSVP with a tokenized invite link.
How do I become a moderator?
Build a track record as a reader. Top-graded readers are invited. Email us at hello@glitchcraft.example to apply directly.
